Weaving Workshop On 4 Shaft Loom 27th May

During this unique workshop, you will be weaving on the 4 shaft table looms using the shuttles. The looms will be threaded with high-quality rug wool yarn (cream, light grey or black- please specify a colour when booking) and you can choose from weaving a rug, wall hanging, fabric for a cushion cover or a tote bag (please also specify your project when booking). You will have a big choice of yarns in different colours and textures, experimental paper and raffia yarns, as well as woolly curls and sari silk ribbons to use for weaving. There is something for everyone’s taste. I have 25 years of experience in weaving and have exhibited my work internationally, with some pieces being published in textile books. Weaving is the craft of mindfulness and you will enjoy watching your unique project growing in front of your eyes. No previous experience is needed so join us and you will not be disappointed.
