Nuno Felting Workshop 25th June 2025

Explore your creativity and learn the craft of Nuno Felting with Erika from Erika’s Textile Workshops.

Experiment with colours and textures and make a lightweight Nuno Felted scarf, wall hanging or a panel for further projects like making lampshades.  During this unique workshop, you will learn about the Nuno Felting technique, how to lay out the wool on top of the silk chiffon base and how to incorporate embellishments like silks, wool nepps, curls, uniquely dyed silk gauzes and many others into your piece.

I have 10 years of experience teaching wet felting and the Nuno Felting technique is one of my favourites as it is very creative and requires very little felting and rolling so the process is not as laborious as other wet felting projects.  Wet Felting is a craft of mindfulness and you will enjoy your unique project growing in front of your eyes.

Participants will need to bring sharp scissors, approximately 1L container for soapy water, 1 large towel and 1 hand towel.
