Come along and learn how to create dramatic landscape drawings using easy line and tone techniques.
You will be working with Graham Lowe, a working artist who has over 20 years experience in teaching art in adult education.
The workshop is open to anyone from total beginner to the more experienced artist.
You will be shown how to use a range of drawing techniques following step by step demonstrations. Graham will guide the group through each stage and there will be lots of one to one help.
We will work with graphite sticks or pencils to capture the light and mood of the landscape.
Please bring along a selection of B graphite sticks or pencils. Graphite sticks are available from any art shop or you can buy a set from the works for around £3-£4 (the ones that look like plastic coated pencils are best).
You will also need a rubber, a pencil sharpener, masking tape and a pad of cartridge paper, A3 is a good size. Kitchen roll and some newspaper to cover your table would also be useful.
