Cat Graphite Pencil Workshop 30th August 2025

Cat Graphite Pencil Workshop 30th August 2025

Enjoy a session of drawing and relaxation, as you create a cat in graphite pencils, guided by local pet portrait & wildlife artist Shannon Mullin.
Starting from a blank piece of paper, Shannon will take you through all of the steps needed to create a piece of artwork you can be proud of, introducing you to the wonderful medium of graphite, which is a great entry medium for learning to draw.
This workshop is suitable for beginners along with more experienced artists, as you will follow a pre-recorded tutorial video shown on the projector, with step-by-step instructions from Shannon and one-on-one help.
You are encouraged to bring a device such as a tablet or mobile phone if you wish to see the tutorial video more clearly up-close. You can access the videos from home after the workshop to have another go should you wish!
Professional-grade materials and equipment will be provided for you, with the option to purchase the pencils at the end of the session if you don’t finish.
Teas and coffees will be provided throughout the session and there is a cafe on-site where you can purchase lunch after the session, or you can bring a packed lunch with you.
Why not come along and try something different? Whether you want to bring a friend, family member or try something just for yourself; a warm and inviting atmosphere will ensure you feel welcomed and relaxed - and perhaps you’ll leave feeling more creative!
